Players and fans across the globe came together to celebrate World Table Tennis Day despite the coronavirus pandemic.
While the annual day could not be marked with its usual array of events and get-togethers, people still managed to find ways to engage with the day at home.
England stars including Maria Tsaptsinos – who ‘returned’ serve from Ma Long – Paul Drinkhall and Liam Pitchford featured in the world’s longest rally, an online compilation of 293 shots released by the ITTF, which you can watch below:
With the chance to watch iconic moments in a 24-hour table tennis marathon on the ITTF’s channels and countless thousands doing their own thing at home, it was a day to celebrate all that is good in the sport.
Here’s a flavour of some of the social media posts from England.
This week we’re giving you the chance to vote for your favourite Gold Coast moment.
