Paralympic champion and star of Strictly, Will Bayley, will talk about his career and how clubs can help to develop the next generation of para athletes when he attends the South East Club and Volunteer Conference.

The Conference is at the Angel Centre in Tonbridge on Sunday January 19 and places are still available – click the button below to book. The event is free to attend, but booking is required and limited to two spaces per club/league.

Will, who is currently working his way back to fitness after a knee injury ended his stint on the BBC1 hit show Strictly Come Dancing, will give a talk and Q&A session for an hour during the afternoon.

He said: “It’s always great to meet people with a passion for table tennis, so I’m really looking forward to spending some time at the conference. I hope that talking about my experiences in the sport will be helpful and entertaining for them!

As well as Will’s guest slot, there are plenty of useful sessions for clubs on the agenda, including workshops on growing the game for 7-to-11-year-olds and for women and girls, plus a session led by Sport England Club Matters on Building Your Club for Success.
