Table Tennis England is seeking two non-executive directors to join its Board.

The voluntary positions are for one independent director and one appointed director from the membership. The Board has defined ‘independent’ as being an individual who, to an objective observer, is not currently actively involved in table tennis.

The directors would serve a four-year term of office, with the possibility of that being renewed for a further four-year term.

The estimated time commitment is for eight to 12 days per year, to include attendance at Board and committee meetings and at competitions or events.

Applications are now being taken and are open until November 6. Interviews will be help on November 14 and the first Board meeting for successful candidates will be the annual two-day meeting on December 12-13 in Milton Keynes.

All eligible candidates are welcome however specific areas of expertise currently being sought include:

• Commercial, marketing and/or fundraising
• Performance Sport
• Legal
• Sports Development including experience or an interest in inclusivity
