Well over 100 players are competing at the Bristol 4* Centenary Open next weekend – and the draw is now out.
The tournament is at the UWE Sports Centre, Frenchay Campus, on August 31 and September 1 and is the centrepiece of a celebration for the league, which came into being shortly after the end of the First World War.
It features men’s and women’s open singles on the Sunday, with groups and knockout rounds, including a consolation event. On the Saturday, there is a Restricted Singles event in groups of five, with the top two in the group qualifying for a Level 1 knockout, three and four going to a Level 2 KO and fifth in the group to a Level 3 KO.
