Paul Drinkhall is into the last 16 of the Serbia Open, while Tom Jarvis has reached the quarter-finals of the under-21s.
Drinkhall, seeded 12th, got through two matches today – a relatively straightforward 4-1 win over world No 280 Leo de Nodrest of France, followed by a 4-2 win over world No 148 Juan Lamadrid of Chile.
He will play top seed Stefan Fegerl of Austria, the world No 66, at noon on Saturday UK time.

Sam Walker, who was seeded fifth, went out in the first round to Shogo Tahara of Japan, who has belied his world ranking of #591 to go on to reach the last 16.
In the Under-21s, fifth seed Jarvis had 3-1 wins over Nicolas Burgos of Chile and Canada’s Jeremy Hazin in the early rounds to set up a quarter-final against Tobia Hippler of Germany, the top seed. The match is at 9.10am UK time on Saturday.
Drinkhall & Walker have a doubles last-16 tie against Bence Majoros of Hungary and Denmark’s Tobias Rasmussen at 10.30am on Saturday.
